Toronto supports one of the most diverse populations in Canada. An obvious by-product of this are the countless attractions, festivals and events throughout the city each year. As the nice weather draws to an end you want to get out and enjoy the last few good weekends we have before the harsh Canadian winter takes over. Halloween Haunt at Canada’s Wonderland

If hitting the drop zone and falling 200 feet at 100km/h wasn’t scary enough then head to Canada’s largest theme park this fall to check out the haunted exhibits. New attractions include Zombies in 4D where you better be prepared to defend yourself. There is also 10 horrifying mazes, scare zones and even live entertainment that includes mutant acrobats and fire breathers. The Halloween Haunt is definitely one of those fall activities in Toronto not for the faint of heart.

Stroll Through the Distillery District

Miss the summer patio? Well, a stroll though the distillery district might help the transition to the indoors. Filled with patios and unique bars, a taste testing tour in the area is surely a great way to spend an afternoon while it’s still comfortable outside. As for fall activities in Toronto, this could be both great for a group of friends catching up or even maybe a first date, you decide. Catch a Sporting Event

We have faith that one of the fall activities in Toronto soon will be to catch a Blue Jays playoff game, but in the mean time we have the Leafs and the Raptors starting their seasons and the Argos gearing up for the playoffs. Always a great family activity, although maybe expensive definitely worth the experience. For sports fan, love them or hate them, there is nothing like watching your city compete in the big leagues.

A Day at the Farm

Probably not something that you would have considered a fall activity in Toronto, but nonetheless the GTA and surrounding country side have some of the best apple and pumpkin picking in Ontario. It would be easy to spend a day in the fresh air enjoying the fall colours with the family at one of the local farms. After a stroll through a corn maze and a hay ride you can wander through a country fresh market checking for tonight’s homemade pie.

Movember Movement

With Movember, a  foundation that support men’s prostate cancer, just around the corner there is sure to be some exciting events in the near future. It’s one of those fall activities in Toronto that you can get together with friends and co-workers to show your support and have a good time doing it.
