High Park is more than cherry blossom trees, as beautiful as they are when they haven’t sprung into action yet you can enjoy one of the many hiking trails that are open all year-around.

4. Evergreen Brickworks

Chances are you’ve driven by the Evergreen Brickworks when you’re driving down the DVP, but consider getting off at the Evergreen Brickworks and walk along one their trails, you won’t be disappointed.

3. Don Valley Trails

The Don Vally trails are plenty so you might want to pick one out before you make your way there. Many of the trails lead you to Lake Ontario and the view you get once you’re there is amazing.

This one is a real treat for those that live in the west end of the city. You don’t need to go far to get here and you get to walk along the Humber River.

1. Scarborough Bluffs

This is one of the best-hidden gems in the city. Walking through here will make you forget you’re still in the city and once you get to the top of the mountain and see the amazing view you’ll think you’re in a different country for a second.
