6 Things In Toronto This Spring

Spring is here in Toronto! Time to get back outside and enjoy the great weather. Spring brings a lot to this city, so get out there and take advantage of the weather before you have to deal with another ice storm in 9 months. These are the 6 things in Toronto to do this spring.

The Blue Jays are back!

The “Boys of Summer” are back on the field. After their best showing in decades, the Blue Jays are the talk of the town and everyone is ready to sit in the Rogers Center this spring to watch some great action. Get yourself a pair of tickets, there are plenty games where you will be able to get a pair for less than $50.

Toronto Raptors

The Raptors will be in the playoffs again this year and are currently on pace for the best regular season record in franchise history. Although tickets will not be cheap for these playoff games, there are plenty of bars that will be showing these games.

Start running or go for walks

Nice weather in Toronto means that it is time for you to get out the house and start being active again. The cold weather tends to make us become hermits, but with the many great trails that this city has to offer, the spring is the perfect time to start going on walks again. If you’re looking for something a little more competitive for yourself, give running a try. There are many running events throughout the city during the spring.

Toronto is known for the great festivals that are hosted in the city every year. The spring season brings some of the best music festivals in Toronto and you have a few choices depending on what type of music you like. Check out NXNE, there will be music from every genre here for you to enjoy all week long.

More festivals

Toronto hosts great music festivals, but there are also many festivals involving food and drink. During the spring, Toronto has Ontario Craft Beer Week, Session Craft Beer Festival, and the Toronto Craft Beer festival. The choice is yours.

Doors Open Toronto

Mark this one down on your calendar, Doors Open Toronto. For a weekend, many important buildings throughout the city will have their doors open to the public, giving people the opportunity to see what the Mayor’s office looks like on an everyday basis. This is a great event for you and the family.

What are your favourite things to do in Toronto during the spring?
