1. Toronto Zoo
Located in the east end of Toronto, the Toronto Zoo is the largest zoo in Canada. The Toronto Zoo is divided into seven areas, based on the natural geographic habitat of the animal. The zoo is guaranteed to put a smile on the faces of everyone who attends, and you’ll probably want to go back because you might not have enough time to view the over 5,000 animals living there.
2. Canada’s Wonderland
Who doesn’t love to yell at the top of their lungs as the wind blows in your face as you move 40km/h? The answer is no one! Take the family to Canada’s Wonderland, the largest amusement park in Canada, filled with roller coasters, a water park, a designated area for kids (KidZville) and much more games and concessions.
3. Canadian National Exhibit (CNE)
Although it is only open for a couple weeks during the Summer, it is definitely a must-go for all GTA residents at least once. For 3 weeks, Exhibition Place becomes a small amusement park which is popular for it’s concessions. This is the one time of the year where you can try all sorts of great food that is not good for your heart but great for the soul.

5. Toronto Beach
Everyone loves the beach and Summer time in Toronto is not complete without a couple visits to Toronto’s Beach. Toronto does not have the luxury of having the beach open all year around like the state of Florida, so Toronto residents enjoy it while it is open. You can go on any day of the Summer and take advantage of beach volleyball courts and a number of ice cream trucks.
